Philosophy
We believe that children who behave appropriately in school should be praised and rewarded.
There must also be acceptance by both staff and pupils that every child is different and an atmosphere developed to ensure this is so. This follows the Christian values that the children are taught throughout their time in school.
Principles
We teach good behaviour by:
- Ensuring the Golden Rules are visible throughout he school
- Do be kind and gentle
- Do be honest
- Do be polite
- Do your best
- Ensuring children understand how the Golden Rules apply to all schools situations.
- Modeling appropriate behaviour.
- Using a variety of teaching techniques to ensure all children understand what is required of them.
- Exploring issues related to social and inter-personal behaviour in whole school year in class assemblies, and weekly circles times.
